Terms of Service

1.1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Iridium Client ("Software", "Client", or "Project").

1.2. Iridium Client is owned and operated by waveir and kumt (collectively referred to as the "Owners").

1.3. By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using Iridium Client, you ("User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.4. The Owners reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective seven (7) days after publication unless otherwise stated.

1.5. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

2.1. Purchasing Iridium Client grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Software. Ownership of the Software is not transferred.

2.2. Licences may be offered as either:

• • Lifetime licences; or
• • Monthly subscription licences.

2.3. Every licence is bound to:

• • one Hardware ID (HWID),
• • the associated Discord account, and
• • the associated IP address used for licensing and security purposes.

2.4. HWID resets are provided free of charge and may be requested once every thirty (30) days. Additional resets cannot be purchased.

2.5. The Software requires communication with Iridium Client licensing services to validate licence status and provide security protections.

2.6. The Owners may suspend, revoke, restrict, or terminate any licence in accordance with these Terms.

2.7. Membership in the official Iridium Client Discord server is a condition of the licence. If the User is banned from the official Discord server, or voluntarily leaves the official Discord server, their licence will be revoked.

To protect the integrity of Iridium Client and enforce licensing, the Software and related infrastructure may collect, process, and temporarily store technical information including, but not limited to:

• • Security verification data
• • Anti-debugging and anti-instrumentation detection logs
• • Download events and download tokens
• • Requested version and release information
• • Download rate-limiting information
• • Active WebSocket session data
• • Heartbeat timestamps
• • Discord User ID
• • Discord username
• • Hardware ID (HWID)
• • Licence key
• • Licence authentication tokens and validity status
• • IP address
• • Cloud configuration backup data
• • Support ticket transcripts (retained for up to ninety (90) days)
• • Administrative moderation records relating to licence actions

This information is collected solely for purposes including:

• • licence validation,
• • abuse prevention,
• • security,
• • security verification,
• • fraud prevention,
• • debugging,
• • moderation,
• • maintaining service functionality.

The Software may perform integrity verification and security checks while running.

Attempts to tamper with, modify, bypass, analyse, instrument, or otherwise interfere with the Software may be detected and logged.

Users must not:

• • share accounts or licences;
• • sell, transfer, rent, or resell licences;
• • distribute cracked or modified versions of Iridium Client;
• • bypass, disable, or interfere with the licensing system;
• • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, analyse, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Software;
• • leak, distribute, or publish any confidential source code or proprietary project materials;
• • perform or attempt denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against any Iridium Client infrastructure;
• • doxx staff members or other community members;
• • harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse Owners, moderators, developers, support staff, or community members;
• • misuse the Software in a manner intended to damage the Project or its infrastructure.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their own accounts and credentials.

5.1. All purchases are final.

5.2. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances except where required by applicable law.

5.3. Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback may result in immediate suspension or permanent revocation of all licences and access to Iridium Client.

Iridium Client is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

The Owners shall not be responsible for:

• • Minecraft updates affecting compatibility;
• • compatibility outside Minecraft Java Edition version 1.21.11;
• • server bans;
• • anti-cheat detections;
• • data loss;
• • third-party software conflicts;
• • service interruptions;
• • maintenance;
• • downtime;
• • issues caused by third-party services.

The User assumes all risks associated with use of the Software.

Violation of these Terms may result in enforcement actions including, but not limited to:

• • warnings;
• • temporary suspensions;
• • permanent suspensions;
• • licence revocation;
• • HWID restrictions;
• • IP restrictions;
• • Discord account restrictions;
• • permanent termination of access.

The Owners reserve the right to determine the appropriate enforcement action based on the nature and severity of each violation.

The Owners also reserve the right to revoke or restrict access to Iridium Client whenever there is a legitimate, reasonable, and good-faith basis for doing so in order to protect the Project, its infrastructure, its community, or its security. Enforcement actions will not be taken arbitrarily or without a genuine reason.

Security logs, licensing records, integrity verification results, moderation records, and other technical evidence may be relied upon when determining violations.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
