This Privacy Policy explains how Iridium Client ("Project", "Software", "Service", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Iridium Client.

Iridium Client is operated by waveir and kumt.

By using Iridium Client, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Iridium Client does not require traditional user accounts. Authentication is performed through Discord.

Depending on your use of the Project, we may collect:

  • • Discord User ID
  • • Discord username
  • • Licence key
  • • HWID history
  • • Subscription status and expiry
  • • Support tickets and communications
  • • Payment-related identifiers provided by our payment platform (where applicable)

Purchase dates and payment information are generally handled by our payment providers and are not necessarily stored directly by Iridium Client.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When using Iridium Client, we may automatically collect technical information including:

  • • Hardware ID (HWID)
  • • IP address
  • • Licence tokens
  • • Licence validation status
  • • Security verification data
  • • Anti-debugging detection logs
  • • Anti-instrumentation detection logs
  • • Download events
  • • Download authentication tokens
  • • Download rate-limiting information
  • • Requested client version information
  • • Active WebSocket session information
  • • Heartbeat timestamps
  • • Client configuration backups
  • • Administrative moderation records
  • • Security logs
  • • Client settings necessary for synchronization

3. Why We Collect Information

We process information for purposes including:

  • • licence verification;
  • • subscription validation;
  • • protecting the licensing system;
  • • preventing piracy;
  • • preventing unauthorized access;
  • • preventing abuse;
  • • security verification;
  • • security monitoring;
  • • cloud configuration synchronization;
  • • providing technical support;
  • • investigating violations of our Terms of Service;
  • • complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use collected information for advertising or behavioural profiling.

4. Security Monitoring

Iridium Client includes security mechanisms intended to protect both the Software and its users.

Security systems may detect and log events including:

  • • licence validation attempts;
  • • client launch attempts;
  • • integrity verification results;
  • • security monitoring events;
  • • reverse engineering attempts;
  • • debugging or instrumentation attempts;
  • • repeated activations;
  • • download abuse;
  • • licence heartbeat events;
  • • WebSocket activity relating to licence management.

These logs are used solely to maintain the integrity and security of Iridium Client.

5. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil operational, security, legal, or support purposes.

Examples include:

  • • Support ticket transcripts may be retained for up to ninety (90) days.
  • • Client configuration backups remain until deleted by the user.
  • • Expired licences are routinely removed through automated maintenance.
  • • HWID history, download history, security logs, and moderation records may be retained while reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, fraud detection, legal compliance, or maintaining the integrity of the Project.
  • • Revoked licences may be retained until no longer required for operational or security purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

Iridium Client relies on trusted third-party providers to deliver its services.

These may include:

  • • Discord (authentication and support)
  • • Cloudflare (Workers, KV, networking, analytics, and infrastructure)
  • • SellAuth (licence and purchase management)
  • • Stripe (payment processing)
  • • PayPal (payment processing)

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies.

7. Cookies

The Iridium Client website uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for operation.

These may include:

  • • Discord OAuth authentication cookies;
  • • login session cookies;
  • • Cloudflare security cookies;
  • • anonymous performance and traffic analytics provided by Cloudflare.

We do not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking cookies.

You may manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling required cookies may prevent portions of the website from functioning correctly.

8. International Processing

Because Iridium Client relies on infrastructure and service providers located in multiple jurisdictions, information may be processed or stored outside Canada.

By using Iridium Client, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to countries with privacy laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

We take reasonable measures to protect information regardless of where it is processed.

9. Data Security

Iridium Client employs industry-standard security measures, including but not limited to:

  • • HTTPS encrypted communication;
  • • TLS-secured connections;
  • • Cryptographic integrity verification;
  • • signed authentication tokens;
  • • restricted administrative access;
  • • server-side security protections;
  • • integrity verification systems;
  • • security monitoring systems;
  • • monitoring for abuse and unauthorized activity.

While we take reasonable precautions, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. What We Do Not Collect

Iridium Client's security systems are designed solely to protect the Software.

Iridium Client does not:

  • • scan personal documents;
  • • access unrelated files;
  • • collect browser history;
  • • collect saved passwords;
  • • access your microphone;
  • • access your webcam;
  • • monitor personal communications;
  • • inspect files unrelated to Iridium Client;
  • • collect unrelated personal information from your device.

Security verification is limited to information necessary for licensing, integrity verification, and protecting the Project.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request:

  • • access to information we hold about you;
  • • correction of inaccurate information;
  • • deletion of information where appropriate;
  • • export of information where technically feasible;
  • • restriction or objection to certain processing activities where applicable.

Certain information required for licensing, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance may not be eligible for deletion while it remains necessary for those purposes.

Privacy requests may be submitted through our official support channels.

12. Children's Privacy

Iridium Client is not intended for individuals under the age of thirteen (13).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen.

If we become aware that such information has been collected, reasonable efforts will be made to remove it where appropriate.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Changes will be announced through our official Discord server or other official communication channels.

Unless otherwise stated, updated versions become effective seven (7) days after publication.

Continued use of Iridium Client after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
